Asphalt crack filling

Cracks let water under your asphalt, and Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles turn small cracks into potholes. Hot rubberized crack filler seals them before that happens.

Common questions

Why fill cracks before sealcoating?

Sealer alone doesn't fill cracks. Filling them first stops water from getting under the new seal and keeps the cracks from coming right back through.

When is the best time for crack filling?

Cool, dry weather in spring and fall is ideal, because cracks are open wider. It can be done through much of the year.

Is crack filling a permanent fix?

It's maintenance, not a permanent repair. It slows down damage considerably and costs far less than patching or replacing asphalt.

What about spiderweb cracking?

Spiderweb, or alligator, cracking usually means the base underneath has failed. That calls for patching rather than crack filling, and we'll tell you which one you need.
